These terms and conditions explain how you may use the ProActive website and how we provide reactive repairs, emergency maintenance, insurance reinstatement, void refurbishment, and related services to housing associations, registered providers and landlords.
ProActive specialises in supporting housing associations, landlords and insurers with existing housing stock. Much of our work is carried out for social housing providers and their partners, including organisations such as Salix Homes and Irwell Valley, as well as insurers and loss adjusters who rely on us for reinstatement and repair works after fire, flood, storm or escape of water.
Our core services include insurance repairs (including fire and flood reinstatement), reactive repairs and emergency maintenance, void refurbishment, disrepair, damp and compliance works, and general residential property maintenance. The specific scope, pricing and programme for any job are agreed in writing with the relevant housing provider, landlord, insurer or loss adjuster before works begin.
We aim to deliver repairs and reinstatement quickly, safely and to a high standard so properties can be re-let or re-occupied as soon as possible. We work in both occupied and void properties and follow the processes and compliance requirements of the housing providers, insurers and partners we work with, including health and safety, safeguarding and regulatory obligations.
This website is provided to give information about our services, experience and partners, and to allow you to contact us for quotes or enquiries. You must not use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable or impair the site, our systems or our reputation. Content on the site is for general information only and may change as our services develop.
While we aim to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, it does not constitute professional advice or a commitment that any specific work will be carried out. Decisions about repairs, maintenance or insurance claims should be made with the relevant housing provider, landlord, insurer or professional adviser.
Work is usually carried out under separate contracts, frameworks or work orders agreed with housing associations, landlords, insurers or their agents. Quotations, programmes and scopes of work are confirmed in writing. Nothing on this website, including references to services or partners, creates a contractual relationship unless expressly agreed in a separate document.
Any reviews or testimonials shown on the website are provided to illustrate the experience of clients who have used ProActive for insurance repairs, void refurbishment or maintenance. They are not a guarantee of identical results for every project, as each property and claim is different.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under applicable law. To the fullest extent permitted, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. Our liability in relation to specific works or projects is governed by the individual contract or agreement covering that work.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, partners or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date above shows when they were most recently revised. Continued use of the website after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
If you have any questions about these terms or how they apply to your organisation, please contact us using the details on our Contact page. We will be happy to discuss how we work with housing providers, landlords, insurers and other partners.
